Hoskins, 28, of Lansing, died Monday night. He was born February 25, 1947, in Lansing, the son of Lawrence and Irene Phillips Hoskins, former Lake Odessa residents. He attended the Dimondale high school and graduated from the Ford Marketing institute. He had served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. For two years he was employed by the Blue Arrow Douglass air freight. November 1, 1973, he was married at Jackson to Gilda Shaw. He had been a resident of Lansing five years. Besides his wife, he leaves three stepchildren, Stephen, Brenda and Laura, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Longpre and Mrs. Kathie Haney of Mason, and Treasa Hoskins of Lansing, formerly of Lake Odessa. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at Lake Odessa. Rev. William Hertel will officiate and interment will be at the Lakeside cemetery.
