Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2003

Devine Louis Hough, 76, of Saranac, passed away due to accidental injuries 
January 27, 2003 in Saranac.  He was born May 31, 1926 in Lake Odessa the son 
of William and Alice (Mallison) Hough.  He married Bessie Scott September 11, 
1997 who passed away January 29, 2003.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII, member of VFW of Sheridan, and a driver for 
Commission on Aging.

He is survived by several step children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 
many nieces.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, 
February 1, 2003 at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with Rev. John Madvig 
officiating.  Anyone wishing to may make a memorial contribution in Devine’s 
memory to Saranac Fire Department First Responders, Commission on Aging, or VFW 
Sheridan.
