Hough, 91, of 178 West Broadway, died Wednesday at Pennock hospital in Hastings. He was hospitalized 2 ½ weeks being transferred to the Hastings hospital from a hospital in Grand Rapids. Born July 22, 1884, in Woodbury, he was the son of John and Amelia Horn Hough. He was a farmer in the Sunfield and Woodbury areas retiring in 1942. He was a member of the Sunfield United Brethren church. He was married to Mary Becker June 10, 1908, and she died July 29, 1944. Later he married Etta Schneider in 1946 and she died in October of 1947, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. October 9, 1959, he was married to Marie Jackson of Sunfield and she survives. The couple resided at Woodland since their marriage. Besides his wife, Marie, he leaves two sons, Roy M. and R. Murray Hough, both of Sunfield; daughter, Mrs. Frances Stucker of Dundee; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Velma Smith of Portland, Ore. The body will be at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at Lake Odessa until Saturday morning when it will be taken to the Sunfield United Brethren church for services at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Floyd Nagel and Rev. Theron Smith will officiate and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Huntington college at Huntington, Ind.
