The Ionia County News, Thursday, April 21, 1949

The body of Avery Hough, one of the recent returned war dead, was brought here 
for burial Saturday afternoon following services at Ionia.  Avery was the son 
of the late William and Alice Mattison Hough.  They resided here about 25 
years ago when Mr. Hough worked for Gates and Huntzinger.
