MARIE HOUGH
LAKE ODESSA - Marie Hough, 84, of 1059 Emerson St., Lake Odessa, died Friday
afternoon in Barry County Medical facility.

Born May 22, 1897, in Portland, she was the daughter of Alex and Etheleen Reed
Miller. She attended schools in Ionia and Eaton County and married Glenn R. Jackson Sept. 28,
1917, in Portland. He died July 5, 1945.

She married Ernest Hough Oct. 9, 1959, in Eaton County. He died April 7, 1945

She was a member of the Sunfield United Brethren Church and the Women's Society of
the Church and of the W.C.T.U.. She was a Sunday Scool Teacher for several years.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. LaVerne Wilcox of Houghton Lake and Mrs.
Laverne Daniels of Lake Odessa, one son, Stanley Jackson, of Sunfield, two stepsons. Roy
Hough of Sunfield, Murray Hough of Sunfield, one step daughter, Mrs.Gerald Stucker of Monroe,
nine grandchildren
