Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. February 28, 1946

Mrs.Chas. Hough Buried Here Mon.
Mrs.Carrie Hough, 77, who had been a resident of Odessa township for 50 years, 
died Thursday evening from a heart attack at the home of Glenn VanHouten in 
Ionia. She is survived by her 85 years old husband Charles, two daughters Mrs 
Clara VanHouten in Ionia and Mrs Etta Cook in West Virginia, and a sister Mrs 
Rickie Garlinger southeast of town.

Funeral services were held at the Pickens Funeral Chapel Monday afternoon with 
the Rev. Herbert Maquire officiating. Interment was in Lakeside cemetery.
