The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 22, 1946
Mrs. Charles Hough, 70, who for 50 years had been a resident of Lake Odessa, 
died Thursday evening of a heart attack at the home of Glenn VanHouten.  She 
is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Clara VanHouten, 425 ˝ West 
Main street, Ionia, and Mrs. Etta Cook of West Virginia, and a sister, Mr. 
Rickie Garlinger of Lake Odessa.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00  o’clock from the Pickens funeral 
home in Lake Odessa.  Interment will be at the Lake Odessa Cemetery.
