Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Nov 2008

Marilyn Jean Houghton aged 78 of Grand Rapids joined her sons Terry and David in
death Nov. 27, 2008.  She was born Aug. 1, 1930 in Grand Rapids the daughter of
Carl and Hazel (Lewis) Cahill.  She is survived by her son Doug (Carol) Houghton
of Stanton.  Sister Eloise Jeltema of Grand Rapids. Sister-in-law Phyllis Cahill
of Walker.  Grandchildren Michael Houghton of Grand Rapids, Tom (Jenni) Houghton
of Ionia, Shelley (Dan) Wierenga of Newago, Harvey Houghton of Interlochen. 
Great-grandchildren Samantha Houghton, Tommy Houghton Jr., Ali Houghton, Jake
Wierenga, Alex Houghton, Emily Houghton, Stephen Houghton.  She was preceded in
death by her parents, 2 sons Terry and David, brother David Cahill and sister
Dorothy Rodriguez.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, Dec.  2, 2008 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral
Home in Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating.  Anyone make wishing may
make memorials to Hospice of Michigan or American Cancer Society.
