ORLEANS

Funeral services for Frank G. Houghton, 81, of Orleans was held last Tuesday 
afternoon at the Stone-Kauffman Funeral Home, with Rev. Jean Crabtree of 
Sheridan, officiating.

Mr. Houghton died last Sunday morning at Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson, 
where he was a patient for over a week. He was born January 7, 1881, the son of 
Addison and Eliza Houghton.

He was married to Fannie Tingle, who died in 1957 and later married Marie 
Norton, who survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ray 
Geething of  Battle Creek, Mrs Robert Perrine of Springport, and Mrs. Ramon 
Stafford of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and seven grandchildren. Burial was in 
Woodard Lake cemetery. Bearers were Ralph Moffitt, Larry Moffitt, Ray Geething 
and Lee Harrington. Out of town person sattending were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph 
Moffitt and Larry Moffitt of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Moffitt of Battle 
Creek.
