Sentinel-Std. - Friday, May 18, 1962

Solemn Requiem High Mass was sung at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at SS. Peter 
and Paul church for Edwin J. Houghton, 66, 442 Rich street, who died Monday 
night after an illness of two weeks.

The Rev. Fr. Thomas Schiller was mass celebrant, assisted by Fr. Vincent J. 
Kamarauskas of Ionia and Fr. E.R. Fox of Hubbardston. Interment was at Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.

Bearers were Donald Mitchell, Arthur Brown, Leon Lockwood, Wilson Dalzell, 
Harold Schmidt and Robert Beard.

Among out of town persons attending were Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Lowe of Detroit, 
Jack Rvdarsyk of Grand Rapids, Dr. and Mrs. G.E. Buckingham of Meadville, Pa., 
and Mrs. Evelyn Sullivan of Scarsdale, N.Y.
