Greenville Daily News, 2002

Greenville - Arthur J. Howard, 72, of Greenville, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002,
at Metron of Greenville.  He was born April 18, 1930, in Belding, the son of
Harold and Vera Randall Howard.  Arthur was a retired carpenter and former
employee of Indian Summer Company.

He is survived by his children, Michael and Melanie Howard of Belding, Glen and
Teresa Howard and April Venneman, all of Greenville, and May Howard and Joel
Ramono of Belding; grandchildren, Kristin, Robin, Todd, Jessie, Andre, Kattie,
Nate, Glenn and Angel; and three sisters and brother-in-law, Marian Sherman and
Tena and L.J. Lindsey, all of Belding, and Helen Parrish of Barryton.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with
the Rev. Ken Harger officiating.  Cremation will follow with burial in Barryton.
 Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday, prior to the funeral services.  Memorial
contributions may be given to the Kidney Foundation.
