Albert C. Howard, 93, died at 8 o’clock Monday evening at Ionia Rest home.  Mr.
Howard retired after 30 years employment at Ionia State Hospital where he was a
guard attendant.

He was born in Jackson, December 27, 1867, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cordon
Howard.  His wife, Nellie, died in 1950.

Surviving are three sons, Harry of St. Johns, Ray of Greenville and Fay Howard
of Easton township; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with the
Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating.  Burial will be at Easton cemetery.

Funeral service for Albert C. Howard, 93, who died Monday evening at Ionia Rest
home was held Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating. 
Interment was at Easton cemetery.  Bearers were Max Strachan, Gordon Howard,
Richard Howard and Ben Beck.  Out of town persons attended from Greenville, St.
Johns and Detroit.
