MRS. LYDIA C. HOWARD

Mrs. Lydia Caroline Howard, 78, wife of Gardner Howard of Ronald Township, died 
Monday morning after a year's illness.

She was born in Otisco township, Ionia County, October 17, 1885, daughter of 
Clark and Mina Hoppough, and was married to Gardner Howard June 10, 1906.

Mrs. Howard had been a resident of Ionia & Montcalm counties all her life. She 
was a member of First Methodist church, Stevens Thomson Mason Chapter of 
Daughters of American Revolution, Ronald willing Workers & Pleasant Hill 
Literary clubs.

Surviving besides her husband, Gardner, are two daughters, Mrs. Murray Young of 
Lansing & Mrs. George Trautman of East Detroit; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Myers funeral home 
with the Rev. Harold A.Jayne of First Methodist church officiating. Interment 
will be at Orleans Cemetery.

A Memorial fund for First Methodist Church & Heart Fund has been established.
