The Belding Banner-News, Wednesday, June 14, 1922

Scott Howe, aged 72 years died at his home in the Brink neighborhood, 
Wednesday, May 31, following a lingering illness.  Funeral services were held 
on Friday, June 2. Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Orleans 
cemetery.  Mr. Howe had resided in the Brink district for a number of years 
and has many friends who will regret to learn of his death.
