Larry W. Howe, aged 66, of Lake Odessa, passed away at Spectrum Health in Grand
Rapids on April 3, 2007.  Larry was born on Nov.  13, 1940 in Carson City to
Warren and Betty Howe, who both preceded him in death.  He graduated from Grand
Ledge High School in 1959, and had served in the National Guard.  Larry retired
from General Motors in 1999 after 40 years.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sherry, of 12 years; sons, Larry (Ginger) Howe of
Lake Odessa, David (Kelly) Howe of Swartz Creek, Terry Howe of Lake Odessa;
daughter, Sherry (Dave) Howe of Lake Odessa; sister, Sharleen (Dean) Shuart of
Grand Ledge; stepsons, Don and Troy Elliston of Sunfield; 9 grandchildren; 5
step grandchildren; 1 step great-granddaughter; and many special friends.

Larry passions were hunting and fishing.  He leaves behind a great legacy of
loving the outdoors.  After retirement, Larry spent his summers mowing the lawn
at the Lakewood Wastewater Authority, and his winters in the Florida Keys where
he enjoyed the palm trees and fishing in his boat.

Visitation will be at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Friday from 2
to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the Koops Funeral
Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday.  Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Park.
