Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Jul 1987

Ardith Howe, 53, of Palo, died Monday at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in
Grand Rapids.  She was born Feb. 9, 1934 in Ionia, the daughter of James and
Ruth Jarstafer Wright.  She married Gordon K. Howe on Aug. 23, 1952, in Ionia.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sheridan V.F.W. Post No. 5065
and O.E.S. of Palo.

Surviving are her husband, Gordon K.; four daughters, Kandy Kelley of Ionia,
April Conway of Palo, Cindy Wireman of Belding, Carol Howe of Ionia; two sons,
Gordon D. Howe of Stanton, Alan J. Howe of Culman, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; her
mother, Ruth Wright of Ionia; one sister, Wanda Raab of Long Lake; one brother,
Dean Wright of Greenville; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh Community
Church, the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Arrangements are by the Rich
Street Chapel of the Montgomery Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial
had been established for Gordon K. Howe, P.O. Box 333, Palo, Mich.  48870.
