The Portland Observer, Wednesday, April 12, 1882
Mrs. Hannah C., wife of O. D. Howell of Portland township, died April 2, 1882 
of consumption, aged 61 years, 8 months and 3 days.  She moved on the farm on 
which she died in the year 1846.  She leaves a husband and six children to 
mourn her loss.
