The Portland Observer, Thursday, January 17, 1935

William Howland, 84, died last Thursday at his home in Sebewa after a long 
illness.  Funeral services were held at the late home Saturday forenoon and 
the remains taken to Lapeer for burial.  Besides the widow he is survived by 
four children, Mrs. Raymond Kenyon, Mrs. Katherine Strong and Miss Amy 
Howland, of Sebewa, and Robert Howland of Portland.
