Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 27 Jun 1972

Mrs. Flora G. Hoxie, 63, of Scott road, Belding, died Monday evening at her
home.  She was born in Kent City, July 6, 1908, the daughter of Joseph L. and
Nora Chase and was a lifetime resident of Saranac and Lowell areas.  She was a
member of Snow Methodist church and its WCTU.  September 8, 1931, she was
married to Clark M. Hoxie.

Surviving besides the husband are a stepson, Richard Hoxie of Belding, and
stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Spencer of Lansing; eight grandchildren and 10 great
grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Chase of Los Angeles, Calif., Robert Chase of
Kent City and Joseph Chase of Muskegon.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in
Saranac.  Interment will be at Easton cemetery.
