Hoy, 30, son of Bert A. and Dana E. Hoy, died Sunday at the University of Michigan hospital at Ann Arbor where he was taken Wednesday, from Mil??rd where he was found unconscious in bed. He did not regain consciousness and the cause of death was undetermined. Born June 21, 1910, and started his ministry at the age of 14. He had spent about eight month in the Ozarks, Arkansas and Missouri, as a missionary and preacher. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Daton Elzey, his step-father Daton Elzey of Ionia; two brothers, Cecil Hoy of Mulliken and Stanley Hoy of Lansing. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Free Methodist church on West Lincoln avenue. The body will be in state at the church from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday.
