The Ionia Standard, Friday, March 11, 1904

Mrs. George H. Hoyt of Orleans died on Saturday, from typhoid fever.  Deceased 
was better known in this city as Ettie Root.  She was aged 31 yeas.  Interment 
Monday at Orleans.

Rev. and Mrs. E. E. Sprague of DuPlain, Clinton county, who were at Orleans to 
attend the funeral of Mrs. George Hoyt, returned home yesterday.
