The Ionia Standard, Friday, September 25, 1885
Died in Orleans, September 17th, Mrs. Geo. Hoyt, aged thirty-two years.  The 
deceased was called away from earth suddenly and unexpectedly.  A husband and 
two children survive her, with hosts of friends to mourn her departure.  The 
funeral services, which were largely attended, were held at her late residence 
on the afternoon of September 19th.  Mrs. Hoyt was one of the brave and noble 
women that adorn life and scatter blessings in every sphere she was called 
upon to fill.
