Mr. Hubbard was born Feb. 20, 1860 at Cooks Corners, the son of William and Mary Ann Hubbard and had lived in this area most of his life. He was married to Minnie Skellenger at Smyrna, in 1885 and was employed for 25 years at the old Belding Hall Refrigerator factory. Following the death of his wife in 1922, Mr. Hubbard has made his home with members of his family. For the past year he made his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Luno in this city. He was a life member of the local Odd Fellow lodge. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mae Sitko of Berkeley and Mrs. Edith Luno of this city; three sons, Benjamin H. and George E. (Don) of East Lansing and Floyd A. of Berkeley; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today at two o’clock at Fales-Huffman Funeral Home, C. Vincent Wright will officiate and the burial will be in the cemetery at Smyrna. Pall bearers will be Carl Taylor, George Barlow, Clarence Cottrell, Charles Knapp, Ransom Moore and Orlie Hammond.
