Belding Home News, 28 Oct 1880

Died. – At his home in Smyrna, Wednesday, Oct. 20th, 1880, after a lingering 
illness of several months, Mr. Wm. R. Hubbard, aged 61 years.  He leaves a wife 
and six sons to mourn his loss.  His funeral was attended at the church at 
Cook’s Corners on Friday last by a large number of citizens and bereaved 
friends.  Mr. Hubbard was a pioneer of the township, having settled in Otisco 
some 30 years ago.
