Hubbard passed peacefully away at the home of her parents, near Cooks Corners, Sunday, April 8, relieving her of the suffering she has borne so patiently for many months. She had been home from Traverse City about five weeks, where she had been for treatment. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey M. Hubbard, and was twenty-five years old. The deceased leaves besides her parents, one brother, Frank Hubbard and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Reeves and Mrs. Frank Belding. The funeral was held at the house Wednesday, where many neighbors and friends came to pay their last respects. Rev. H.S. Ellis officiated amid many beautiful flowers of spring her remains were placed in the Otisco cemetery. She was a loyal member of the D. of R. and the order attended the funeral in a body.
