Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Sep 1968

Funeral services for Frank C. Hubbard, 73, were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman
funeral home in Belding, Rev. Robert Lilly officiated, assisted by the Belding
Lodge, F & AM, DAV post members folded the flag and interment was at River Ridge
cemetery, Belding.  Mr. Hubbard, a lifetime Belding area resident, who lived at
210 High, Belding died Friday at United Memorial hospital, Belding.

He was born March 5, 1895 at Cooks Corners.  In his later years he was
self-employed as a saw filer.  He was a member of First Baptist church, life
member of DAV Flat River chapter, also a member of the Belding Lodge F & AM and
WWI veteran having served overseas.  

May 29, 1920 he was married and Ionia to Christina Petersen who survives and
also a sister Mrs. Katie Reeves of rural Belding.

Bearers were Delton Rayborn, Harold Fitzner, Lawrence Hodge, Jack Rice, Otto
Hansen and Ralph Wilson.
