The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, April 15, 1936
George Hubbard, 69, died at his home on Millard Street in Belding Wednesday 
morning, April 15.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncy Hubbard, and born 
in Ionia County, December 1867.  He was married to Myrtle J. Brown of 
Sheridan, January 29, 1902, and has been a farmer in Orleans township all his 
life.

Surviving him is his wife and ten children, Mrs. William Retterstoff of Ionia; 
Henry Hubbard of Belding; Vern Hubbard of Belding; Mrs. Aloysia Clifford of 
Palo; Ralph of Belding, Robert of Greenville; Mrs. Arthur Helms at home; 
Rowley, Harold and Margaret, who live at home.

Funeral services will be held from the home of Henry Hubbard, at Belding, 
Sunday, April 19 at 2 o’clock.  Rev. Ellis will officiate and interment will 
be at the Orleans cemetery.
