Ionia Standard - Friday, Aug. 25, 1916

The funeral for Mrs. Lula Hubbard was held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 
o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brooks, East Main street, Rev. R. B. 
Chapman officiating. The music was by Mesdames Eugene Smith and Harry E. 
Spencer. Interment in Highland Park. The bearers were, Walter Morse, Silas 
Morse and Frank and Jos. Herman. Those in attendance from out of the city were, 
Mrs. M. E. Morse, mother of deceased, Walter and Silas Morse, Mrs. L Henckle, 
Mrs. P. Grimes and Mrs. H. Dickelman, all of Michigan City, Ind.; Geo. Morse 
and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Herman of New Buffalo; Mr. and Mrs. Ward Hubbard and Mark 
Hubbard of Grand Rapids.
