Ionia Sentinel, 16 Aug 1882

Muir – We have also to record the sudden and sad bereavement of Mr. Edgar 
Hubbell, who left his wife apparently well as usual Saturday morning to do some 
chores at the barn, and on returning to the house found his wife in convulsions 
which continued with scarcely any intermission until Sunday morning, when she 
died.  They had been married nearly three years.  Her funeral was held at North 
Plains Tuesday morning.
