Hubbell, who died on the Pere Marquette train to Grand Ledge. The train left here at 7:20, and he was found dead in his seat before reaching his destination. The body was turned over to the Grand Ledge authorities, who appointed a coroner's jury to old an inquest on the death, which was probably due, however, to heart trouble, from which he has suffered for years. The body was brought back this afternoon. Further circumstances of the death have not yet been given here. __________________________________ December 5, 1916 Don Hubbell, whose death occurred on a Pere Marquette train Monday morning was a nephew of Hal B. Preston, whose funeral service was conducted same afternoon. __________________________________ December 6, 1916 The funeral for Don A. Hubbell will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the house, N. Jackson St., Rev. E.E. Branch officiating. The body will be placed in the vault at Highland Park until spring.
