Casey attended Woodview School in Belding. Casey would have been starting Middle School this fall, and was very excited about it. He loved being a member of the football team and watching WWE Wrestling. Casey enjoyed fishing with his dad and long talks filled with laughter with his mom. He loved talking with anyone who would talk back. Casey looked forward to vacationing in Florida with older brother Bobby. He was a great brother that kept watch over his two sisters, Courtney and Caitlin. He was an incredible boy who already had a plan for his life and knew what he wanted to do in the future. Casey was a gift from God, loaned to us, but called back by his Heavenly father. His many friends and family members are grateful for having shared a life with him. Casey is survived by his parents, brother Bobby, sisters, Courtney and Caitlin. Grandparents Debra Pethers and Veronica Ward, great-grandparents Peggy McKay and Francis Brady. Aunts and uncles, Leonard and Emma Huddleston, Brian and Joanie Huddleston, Connie and Terry Atchison, Larry and Toni Huddleston, Cheryl Ward, Harlow Hansbarger, Candi and Art Haith, Tim Pethers and Heather Clark. Bill and Becky Pethers. Great aunts and uncles, Pat Brady, Mike and Debra Brady, Mary and Chuck Booth, Tim and Cheryl Brady, Susan Antcliff, and Lynda and Bill Peters. Cousins, Brittany, Trisha, Hailey, Amanda, Brian, Jason, Lauryn, Terry, Cassie, Bayley, Dee, Sab, Andrew, Cali, Damion, Emily, Dylan, Matt, Kayla, Kaiden, Kassi, and Katie. Casey was preceded in death by grandfathers Harry Ward and Thomas Pethers, and great- grandparents, Leonard Antcliff, Andrew McKay and Vera Brady. Services for Casey were Tuesday at Huffman-Brigham Funeral Chapel in Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. There was a visitation Monday at the funeral home. There was a luncheon at the American Legion Hall in Belding following the service. Contributions may be made to the Alvah N. Belding Library Building Fund for a brick to be purchased in his memory.
