Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the Rev. J.G. Packer, M.A., rector of St. Peter’s church, Hackner Road, London, England, and was born October 14th, 1835. She was married to Mr. Hudson March 5, 1859, with whom she came to this country in 1870, locating at Pontiac, Oakland county, Michigan. They resided in Grand Rapids for a time, and in 1874 came to Pentwater, at which place or its vicinity they continue to reside until last fall, when they removed to Belding. Mrs. Hudson was a most esteemed lady, who was “known by the people of the country as a follower of Christ,” and was greatly beloved by a large circle of friends, who join with the bereaved husband in deeply mourning her loss. The funeral services were held at the Episcopal church, of which she had all her life been a devoted member, and were conducted by the Rev. W.P. Law of Grand Rapids. – Pentwater News.
