Hudson of Danby, was killed near Bisbee, North Dakota, Monday. The manner in which he met death is not known, the telegram simply stating that he was dead and that remains had been shipped to Portland from Bisbee. It is figured that they will arrive here some time Thursday and they will be accompanied by Phil Brown. That Hudson was killed is supposition on the part of his parents and friends, which is made plausible from the fact that the last time he was heard from he was well and no word had been received from others to the contrary in the meantime. Some weeks ago George Smurr, Will Hudson and Phil Brown went to North Dakota to work in harvest and prospect. They first went to Cecil, that state, but have been in other places since. Mr. Smurr is now at Grass Lake, No. Dak.
