Funeral services were held at Hot Springs, Ark., where he resided, and burial was in Hollywood cemetery there. Born in New York Mr. Huey was born in Watkins Glen, N.Y., and came to Portland in 1888. He bought John Green’s photo studio here and operated same for some time. Later he was in the barber business with William (Billy) Smurr. He was a brother of Fred Huey, of Maple Corners, who went to Hot Springs to attend the funeral. Another brother, Frank, lives in Grand Rapids, and there is a sister, Mrs. Medi Lancaster, of Mountain View, Ark., in addition to the widow. Mr. Huey visited at the farm home of his brother here last summer.
