Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 3 Dec 1926

The funeral services for Mrs. Vernice Huey were held from the home in Muir
Thursday afternoon with a large group of friends present.  The flowers were also
numerous.  Rev. George L. Johnston, of Muir, officiated at the services, and Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Adgat arranged the music.  The bearers were Fred Grill, Howard
Ranger, Ora Maynard, Fred McConnell, Orland Bennett and George Edwards.  The
burial was in Portland.
