SPARTA- Mrs. Virginia F. Huey, 85, of 9690 Pine Island drive died Sunday at 
Kent Community hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Arkansas February 4, 1892, the daughter of Virgel and Armethia 
Scott. 

She married Frank A. Huey November 2, 1910. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Mrs. Huey was a member of Rockford Reformed church and is survived by her 
children George and Lola Huey and Angus and June Huey of Belding; Frank and 
Reva Huey of Sparta, Floyd and Virginia Swinehart of Ionia, Marshall and 
Catherine Sprik of Grand Rapids, Tim and Irene Tiffany of Montana, Kenneth and 
Almeda Zwyghuizen of Sparta, 32 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, eight 
great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Tuesday at the Hessel-Cheslek funeral home with Rev. Levi Akker 
and Rev. Michael Pierce officiating.

Burial is in Englishville cemetery, Sparta.
