The Ionia Weekly Standard, Friday, November 4, 1910

Thaddeus Huff, a veteran of the 9th infantry, a resident of Ionia from 1865 to 
1891, died at his home in Grand Rapids, on Monday, at age of 62.  Funeral 
service was at the home Thursday afternoon, and the remains were brought here 
for interment in Highland Park cemetery.

The remains of Thadeus Huff arrived here by 10:10 train Friday and were taken 
to Highland Park, where burial service took place, Rev. W. K. Spencer, D.D., 
officiating.
