In poor health for the past four years, Mrs. Huff’s death at this time was unexpected. Her young granddaughter found her when she came home from school at noon. Mrs. Huff was born at White Lake Corners in New York state on June 25, 1872. She was married to Jas. King, and came to this section of the country with him 40 years ago. They resided in northern Michigan for a short time and following an accident to Mr. King, came to Greenville where he later died. Ten children were born to this union. In 1909 she married Charles Warner, who passed away three years later, leaving her with two daughters, Frances and Wanda. On December 18, 1923, she was married to W. G. Huff, who survives, together with two sons, Frank and Louis King of this city, and four daughters, Mrs. Lydia Dyke and Mrs. Grace Yeiter of Kalamazoo, Frances Morris and Wanda Davis of this city; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A short prayer service for members of the family will be held this morning at 10 o’clock at the family home on W. Congress street and rites will be conducted in the afternoon at the Fales funeral home at 2 o’clock, with Elder O. P. Ellis of the Church of Christ as officiating clergyman. Burial will be in the old Belding cemetery.
