Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Riley church in
Gladwin for Allen P. Huffman, 69, who died at the home of his son, A. Ross
Huffman, Belding undertaker, Saturday.

Huffman had lived with his son for the past three years and had come to Belding
from his home at Gladwin.

He was born January 17, 1880 in Stoco, Ont., and came to the United States as a
child.  He later settled at Gladwin where he was employed for many years as a
cheese maker.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha, of Gladwin; a daughter Mrs. Alma Foster of
Lansing; two sons, Clayton, of Lansing and A. Ross, of Belding; three sisters;
and five grandchildren.

He was a member of the Evangelical church.
