Daily Standard - Monday, March 28, 1904

Wm. Huggins died of la grippe, March 20, at his home in Trufant, at the age of 
72 years. Funeral service was held there on Wednesday, attended by relatives 
from this county. He spent most of his life in Montcalm county, just north of 
Palo, but was a resident of this city for two or three years, moving from here 
to Trufant six years ago. He leaves a brother, Alfred of Palo, and two nieces 
and two nephews resident of this city; Mrs. George Wedge, Mrs. Fred Thomas, Wm. 
T. Huggins and John Huggins. He also leaves a wife, but no children.
