Ionia Daily Sentinel, 2 & 4 Jun 1913

Nettie, wife of Daniel Hughes, aged 38 years died at the home in Edmore Saturday
morning.  The remains were brought here Monday afternoon for burial from the
residence of her mother, Mrs. Nicholas Schwenter, 404 Johnson street.  The
funeral will be Tuesday morning at the Church of SS. Peter & Paul at 9 o’clock.
 Mrs. Hughes leaves besides her husband, five children.

The funeral service for Mrs. Nettie Hughes was held Tuesday morning at the
Church of SS. Peter & Paul and was largely attended.  The bearers were Joseph
Selbach, Roman Steinberg, Joseph Poole and Frank Biehler.  Burial was in Mt.
Olivet cemetery.
