Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 May 1983

Winifred I. Hughes, 71, 8E. Heart Drive, Zephyr Fills, Fla., died Saturday at 
her daughter’s home in Portland.

She was born Dec. 6, 1911 in Lansing, the daughter of Glenn and Grace Crame 
Abbott.  She had lived in Florida for the past 17 years.

Survivors include her husband, Marion; two sons, Kenneth Adams of Jackson and 
Lynn Adams of Eaton Rapids; one daughter, Delores Cornell of Portland; two 
sisters, Opal Foote and Jean Pearson of Lansing; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, with 
the Rev. Donald Sutton officiating.  Burial will be in Zephyr Hills, Fla.
