She was born December 15, 1851, at Forks township, North Hampton county, PA. She attended and graduated from a normal college at Kutztown, Pa., and taught school until she moved to Michigan with her brother, Henry Frace. She moved to Detroit with her brother and lived there until marrying Daniel G. Huhn in 1973. After their marriage they returned to Pennsylvania where they lived for six years. Mr. Huhn and Mr. Frace opened a dry goods store in Saranac and later operated the D. J. Huhn Milling company. Upon the death of Mr. Huhn, a son, Leo, took over the business. It was later sold. She was a member of the Congregational church, the Saranac Women’s club, the O.E. S., the W. C.T.U., and the Mite society. Surviving are three daughters, Mary E. Huhn at home, Blanche Travis of Goebbels and Miss Nina Huhn of Chicago; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Leo Huhn, of Saranac; four grandchildren; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Morris funeral home. Interment will be in Saranac cemetery.
