Helen G. Huhn, 91, of Saranac, passed away March 12, 2004 at her home.
She was born July 16, 1912 in Keene Township, the daughter of Sheldon and 
Myrtle (Dodds) Cahoon. 

She married Daniel Huhn July 30, 1937. He preceded her in death. She graduated 
from Saranac High School in 1931. She worked for General Motors as a secretary 
until retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Saranac Community Church. She 
was Grand Marshall in the 2003 Bridgefest.

She is survived by one sister, Anta Miller of Florida; nephews, Richard 
Cahoon, Tony Miller, Robin Miller; nieces, Virginia Fox, Marguerite Miller; 
eight great nieces and nephews and 14 great-great nieces and nephews.  Besides 
her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee, Glen and Don.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1 p.m. at the Saranac Community Church 
with Rev. John Madvig officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery.  Visitation 
will be at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. 
Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Saranac Community Library, 
Boston Historical Society, Ionia Area Hospice or Saranac Community Church.
