Ella Gunn’s CD Scrapbook – January 1917
Mrs. Roe Hulett, who was reported in this paper last week as being seriously 
ill, passed away Saturday night at about 11o’clock.  Mrs. Hulett’s illness was 
of a short duration.  Although not feeling well for a short time, she had been 
able to continue her work at the local telephone office until a little over a 
week preceding her death.  Her illness was considered very serious from the 
first and an operation was found necessary which was performed on Monday, Jan. 
_____.  It was hoped this might save her life and hopes were held out for a 
few days, then she grew worse and the end came in a very short time.
