Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Feb 1987

Emma C. Hull, 91, of 414 East State, Belding, died Sunday at Belding Christina 
Nursing Home.  Born Oct. 28, 1895, in Manistee Township, Manistee county, she 
was the daughter of Peter and Anna Burgland Peterson.  She was married Julius 
Hull; he died in 1927.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters, Bonnie Plowman of Lansing, Mrs. 
Kent (Jessie) Brenholtz, Flint; Mrs. Jack (Betty) Johnson of Charlotte; Ward 
Hull of Orleans; Ellery Hull of Grattan; and Julius and Arden Hull of Chicago; 
a daughter-in-law, Mary J. Hull; 23 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 
two great great grandchildren.  A son, Alton, preceded her in death in 1977.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 
chapel, with the Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Burial will be in Chapel 
Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will be at Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, 
Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
