Victor Leslie Hull, age 83, of Ionia, passed away Jan. 9, 2008 in Ionia.  He 
was born March 3, 1924 in Lyons the son of Lavaldin (Dick) and Marian (Lee) 
Hull.  Victor married Mary Ross June 20, 1947 in Ionia.  He was a WWII Army 
veteran where he received the Purple Heart.  He was a self-employed mechanic 
in Ionia.  Victor also worked as a policeman in Ionia and as a security guard 
at Mitchell Bentley.  He retired from Amway in 1989.

Victor is survived by his living wife of 60 years Mary Hull of Ionia; 
daughters, Diana (David) Kober of Comstock Park, Terri Hull of Ionia and Gay 
(David) London of Saranac; brother, Fred Hull of Orleans, sister, Lucy Reeves 
of Orleans; grandchildren, Stephanie Johnston, Angela Hull, Jennifer Hull, 
Nicholas Hull, Ryan (Sara) Ellison, Cory Ellison, Paul London, Kathy London, 
Brandon Bailey, Derrick Bailey and nine great-grandchildren.  He was preceded 
in death by his parents, one daughter Dixie Post and four sisters; Violet 
Schultz, Flossy Smalley, Joyce Sterzick and Doris Warner.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.  The 
family will receive friends and relatives Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 
the funeral home.  You may make memorial contributions in Victor’s name to 
Shiloh Community Church.
