Hull, born January 20, 1930, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior peacefully on March 27, 2014. She is now dancing, singing and walking to her hearts content and celebrating her life on earth. She leaves behind her husband, Marvin Hull, with whom she just celebrated 65 years of marriage on March 12, 2014. Esther loved knitting for her family, and with the Soul Warmers group at Cascade Christian Church. There they would knit hats for babies and blankets for the homeless. She was an excellent cook and baker, and her family will miss all of her Christmas goodies. After retirement, Esther and Marvin enjoyed traveling in their motor home; she especially loved Bryce Canyon and their many winters in Arizona. In her last few years, she loved our annual Hullapalooza family camping trips. Esther will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her daughters, Christine (Roger) Scheiern, Karen (Mike) Wietzke and Dianne (Dave) Verlin. She was the beloved Grandma of Brian (Julie) Wietzke, Jennifer (Alex) Gasco, Ahren (Joanna) Wietzke, Keith (Mandy) Scheiern, Grant Verlin and Brent (Jennifer) Verlin. She has three great granddaughters, Kaelyn Wietzke, Addison Scheiern and Ellasyn Verlin and great grandson, Tyler Hall. She was waiting to meet great granddaughter, Scheiern, to be born on April 9th. She leaves behind one sister-in-law, Lois (Howard) Jackson; and many nieces and their families whom she adored. She is preceded in death by many family members, all of whom she loved dearly. A celebration of Esther's life will be at 11 a.m. today at Cascade Christian Church, 2829 Thornapple River Dr. SE, Grand Rapids. Visitation with family will begin at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow. Memorial contributions in Esther's memory may be made to Cascade Christian Church or Hope Network.
