Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. May 19, 1955

HERMAN HULL DIED LAST WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Otto funeral home at Vermontville
for Herman Hull, 71, a retired New York Central employee. Mr. Hull, a native of
Vermontville, died in Pennock hospital, Hastings, on Wednesday. He had been admitted to the
hospital only the day before.

For 18 years he served with the Navy, joining in 1904 and continuing through World
War I. His only survivors are a sister, Mrs.Oscar Shellenbager of Lake Odessa, and an aunt,
Mrs. Ralph Perkey of Vermontville.

Rev. F. Willard Kime, pastor of the Congregational church in Vermontville officiated
Saturday and burial was at the Woodland cemetery,
