His death was attributed to a heart ailment. He was born in Blanchard. A truck driver for the Wolverine Truck company of Grand Rapids, he moved to Belding 14 years ago from Detroit. Surviving are a daughter, Donna; five sons, Wayne, David, Danny, Allen, and James, all of Cook’s Corners; four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Coy of Detroit, Mrs. Lyle Phillips of Augusta, Mrs. Kenneth VanOcker of Greenville, and Mrs. Donald Chaney of Blanchard and a brother, William of Belding.
